Red Ribbon Week
2020
a contactless, Covid-safe commUNITY event
Start Talking Grandview distributed 75 red ribbons throughout our community in recognition of Red Ribbon Week, October 23-31. Red Ribbon Week is the largest and longest running nationwide prevention effort, started in 1983.
The 2020 theme was
Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free(TM).
75 community members painted the town RED, bringing us together to show our commitment to helping all youth realize their full, healthy, drug free potential.
Thank you to a STG community member who generously donated the first 100 yards of red ribbon to kick off our contactless, Covid-safe community event.
